Fall 2015 development update, new features and PacmanVPS!

Fall has been really awesome for us - we've been coding like crazy for the last few months, working with early adopters and fine-tuning Virtkick's UX and design. Take a look at three big upcoming features we've been working on just recently - please keep in mind that it's all work in progress and subject to change!

Adjustable Hosting Plans

The sliders are here, making sure you can adjust & white-label Virtkick to your pricing plan; plus, a coupon option for introducting promotions and prizes is here as well - everything to make your business awesome.

Customer Management

The customer management panel will allow you to add/remove customers and quickly get an overview about who are your clients.

New appliances - including OpenSUSE!

OpenSUSE Leap joins the set of ready to use ISOs/Appliances, with Arch Linux, CentOS, CoreOS, Debian and Ubuntu ready to use by your customers.

PacmanVPS - Virtkick Testing Ground

We've just launched PacmanVPS, our own Virtkick-powered Arch Linux hosting company. We use it to test out the experimental features in real-life environment with a handful of customers before rolling new Virtkick versions out to you. We make sure you only get the best, proven software.

What's next?

We will start rolling out production-ready Virtkick to first early adopters in November, with several Virtkick instances running before the end of 2015. We're going live in 2016!

And before that? We're testing the distribution of the latest OpenSUSE Leap OS, make sure you know which customer paid you and how much, consider bandwidth limitation, multiple data centers' locations and more. Need a feature? Just email me: mirek (at) virtkick.com and let's work together!

Last but not least - we'd like to thank Boltwolf Networks and Zodeo for providing great feedback during these last few months. And a big thank you for the 800 of you signing up for Virtkick's limited release, your wait will soon be over!

Let's give AWS a run for their money!
